Hi, I’m Nakina — a Humboldt County-based photographer with a passion for capturing real, heartfelt moments in natural light. I’m based in Rio Dell, and I specialize in couples and lifestyle photography with a laid-back, golden-hour style that reflects the beauty of Northern California. Photography has always been more than just a job for me — it’s a way to tell your story. Whether we’re chasing the sunset on the beach, exploring the redwoods, or capturing quiet moments at home, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and totally yourselves in front of the camera. When I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me on an adventure somewhere — riding ATVs, hiking a new trail, or grabbing an iced coffee (I’m also a barista!). I love editing to the sound of a good podcast and am always dreaming up the next creative idea.
